SVdP has implemented new no-contact procedures:

  • All boxes are prepackaged for distribution
    • Dry goods, produce, deli, meat, dairy, bread, and bakery as available
  • Check in
    • Park - either on Water Street, Main Street or behind the pantry building in the parking lot.
    • Window - Please come to the window on Main Street with your I.D.
    • to check in and receive your printed ticket.  You will not be allowed in line without a ticket.
    • Vehicle - Return to your vehicle and drive to the back of the building.  Groceries will be placed on the usual dock/ramp for you to pick up.

How Do We Help Our Community?

Our food pantry is here to help with food security gaps for our neighbors in Barron County.  We are a "choice" Pantry that allows folks to select items from our shelves, according to the number of people in their household.  Usually, we can offer non-perishable items, meat, dairy, bread, fresh produce, and some personal care products.

No referral is necessary.  Guests must register and be certified on their 1st visit to determine their individual needs.  Generally, folks visit once a month but exceptions can be made if required.

St. Vincent de Paul's Pantry is located at:

40 S. Main Street

Rice Lake, WI 54868

We receive donations from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Second Harvest (local grocery stores), businesses, residents, and community groups.  We purchase items from Feed My People Food Bank to keep our shelves well stocked.

Due to the Volume of people we serve, any and all donations are welcome!  If you would like to contribute, have a food drive, or volunteer at SVdP Pantry/Kitchen please call (715) 234-2372 ask for Pat.
