Have You Ever Been Really Hungry?
What Would You Do If You Had No Way To Get Food?
Hunger is a real and ominous problem for many people/families in Barron County. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is working hard to make a difference in peoples’ lives. When our neighbors look in their cupboards and see nothing, we are here to help them. These friends look to us, then we look to you. Your compassionate giving keeps the food on the shelves for our neighbors in need.
Turn Hopelessness into Happiness, by giving today! Every dollar given counts! A small $25 donation can mean a world of difference for those living in poverty. If you can give more, you and we are so blessed! Give what you feel works for you.
Our Pantry dining room serves on average 1,069 nutritious hot meals per month. In the last 12 months the total food Pantry and hot meals we distributed was a huge 414,0480 lbs of food!
Here are our patron’s feelings about our hot meal and Pantry programs:
“It helps me make it through the month so I don’t have to go hungry.”
“You have helped my husband stay alive with his type 1 Diabetes with having your hot meals.”
